In a thermal insulation panel suspension system, the insulation and the associated vapour barrier film are gripped along the panel edge so as to form a vapour barrier seal. The resinbonded glass fibre panel, 19, with the plastics sheet vapour barrier, 20, adhering thereto, is mounted between the flanges 13, 14 of the channel 10. The panel edge is compressed by the sloped section 15 and the projection 18.
