Abstract

1,268,520. Agglomerating ores. SOC. ANON. HEURTEY. 28 Oct., 1969 [12 Nov., 1968], No. 52813/69. Heading C1A. A combustible binder contained in conglomerated ores or ceramic products is used for subsequent heat treatment of the products by partially burning the binder in a distillation step at about 500‹ C., and using the combustible products at least partially as fuel during further heat treatment at about 1200‹ C. The binder is preferably coal or oil tar, bitumen, or natural resin. Part of the combustible products may be used for drying the ore and warming the binder.
