Abstract

1,268,143. Filter networks. MICROWAVE DEVELOPMENT LABORATORIES Inc. 11 Nov., 1969 [24 March, 1969], No. 55061/69. Heading H3U. [Also in Division H1] A band-pass filter comprises first and second .arrays, respectively 61-63 and 64-66, of coupled resonant sections, opposed elements in the arrays being cross-coupled by capacitors 71-73 whereby multiple paths are afforded between input and output. It is stated in the Specification that this construction -allows independent choice of delay and frequency characteristics. A design procedure for a filter having maximally-flat delay and frequency characteristics is given in the Specification.
