Abstract
1,266,819. Central heating boiler. GUSTAV OSPELT HOVALWERK A.G. 10 Dec., 1970 [11 Dec., 1969], No. 58767/70. Heading F4A. In a central heating boiler, boiler door 1 has an aperture for the passage of a burner (not illustrated). The burner is mounted on a plate 7 hinged to an intermediate plate 6, itself hinged to lugs 3 on the boiler door. When the burner is in operation these two plates fold together, Fig. 1, the burner projecting through intermediate plate 6 and aperture. A lever 8 engages top extension 9 to hold the burner in place. The burner can be swung aside when no longer required, the folding construction of the twoplate assembly allowing the burner to be pulled forwards out of the aperture. A closing cover 11 mounted on lugs 10 may then be swung over the aperture, Fig. 3, and locked by the lever 8. Alternatively the assembly of the two plates may be mounted to open the opposite way using lugs 4; since this involves turning the plates through 180 degrees two extensions 9 are provided.
