Abstract

1,264,216. Knitting machines. MONARCH INTERNATIONAL Ltd. 2 June, 1969, No. 27868/69. Heading D1C. A circular multi-feed knitting machine with provision for knitting, tucking and welting as shown in Figure 1 has guard cams 26 adjacent the stitch cams 21, 23 to prevent overthrow of the needles. The bottom face of the guard cams 26 also acts to prevent inadvertent raising of the needles from the welting positions. The stitch cams 21, 23 are vertically adjustable by means of a screw 54 which acts on a key 41 to which the cams are attached and the guard cams 26 are adjustable by means of a screw in a elongated slot.
