Abstract

1,260,346. Dispensing measured quantities of liquids. SALESPRINT & DISPLAY Ltd. 7 Aug., 1970 [16 Sept., 1969], No. 45586/69. Heading B8N. [Also in Division G5] Apparatus for supporting and for dispensing measured quantities of liquid from an inverted bottle, comprises a metering device including a movable actuating member against which a glass may be pressed upwardly whereby a measured quantity is dispensed into the glass, and an electrically operated visual indicator which is actuated when the actuating member is moved upwardly. The indicator may be a counter, or an illuminatable sign, as shown. As illustrated, upon upward movement of the actuating member 12 a contact 22 is moved into contact with a contact 21 to complete a circuit which includes battery 15 and a bulb (not shown) in holder 17. The bulb illuminates an advertisement carried by a translucent front panel (not shown) of a box 14.
