943,773. Signs. GASKELL & CHAMBERS (NON-DRIP MEASURE) Ltd. Oct. 11, 1962 [Oct. 23, 1961], No. 37876/61. Heading G5C. A display sign for use with a liquid dispensing apparatus including a transparent or translucent storage container of the type described in Specifications 844,953 and 856,981, comprises a hollow structure which has a spigot and socket connection with the container lid, the sign being illuminated internally so that the light is directed downwards through the spigot to illuminate the container contents. Figs. 1 and 2 show an illuminated sign for a liquid dispensing apparatus having a lid 6, a portion only of which is shown diagrammatically. The sign has end walls 1 and curved side walls 2 and a detachable top panel 4 and is preferably made of translucent plastic material. The bottom panel 3 of the sign has a spigot portion 3a which seats within an aperture formed in lid 6. The top member 4 supports a normal electric lamp bulb socket 7 and spigot 6a has any passage therethrough closed by a translucent or transparent disc.
