[Classes 66, 94 (i), and 125 (i)] A display device intended to simulate a foodstuff can formed with a transparent wall portion for inspection of the contents comprises a glass container 1 disposed within a can which has one or more openings 12, such as a pair of oppositely disposed openings, formed in the wall, and may in addition have the end 5 cut away so that the contents are visible through the base 3 of the container. The interior of the can may be given a mirror surface so that the contents are illuminated by reflected light. The container may be retained in place by the end 4 being seamed on after insertion.
