Abstract
1,259,343. Switchboards; automatic circuitbreakers. SYSTEMS ELECTRONICS Inc. 4 Feb., 1969 [5 Feb., 1968], No. 6117/69. Heading H1N. A power supply unit, e.g. for laboratory use, includes an overload-responsive circuit-breaker, means 20, 22, 24 for varying the output voltage and/or current and a pin tumbler lock 38 whose plug 40 is coupled to a reset lever of the circuit-breaker so that the circuit-breaker can only be reset by using a key. The circuitbreaker may be of the trip-free type with a lever which is moved to the " off " position to reset the circuit-breaker mechanism after tripping, the contacts being re-closed by subsequent movement of the lever to the " on " position. The circuit-breaker may be a single-pole unit or two single-pole units coupled together. Socket outlets 26, 28, 30, 32, 34 and an indicator light 36 may be provided.
