Abstract

1,256,965. Clasps. MILNER KING. 17 Feb., 1969, No. 8402/69. Headings E2A and E2B. A clasp comprises two interengageable members 1, 2 with a safety cover 5 therefor pivotally mounted, by two arms 8, on one of said members so as to be movable to a securing position to prevent disengagement of said two members, said cover having a hole through or an indentation 7 in the inside of one or both side arms thereof which hole(s)/ indentation(s) coact with a spring-loaded pin or pins 10 set in one or both sides respectively of the other of said members. In the construction shown a hollow cylinder 12 closed at one end contains the pin 10 a part of which is disposed in the cylinder and urged outwardly by means of a spring 13, the mouth of the cylinder being flanged inwardly into a groove in the pin to retain the pin in the cylinder with its head projecting.
