Abstract

1,254,910. Cassava. A. M. OLUSANYA. 4 Dec., 1969, No. 59336/69. Heading A2B. Cassava roots are pulped to cause separation of starch therefrom, the pulp is fermented to form a slurry, the resulting mother liquor is separated, and the starch containing residue dehydrated to provide a staple food product. The separated mother liquor is recycled and added to the pulp prior to fermentation.
