Abstract
825,074. Obtaining fibres from plants. TURNBULL, R. H. Oct. 26, 1956 [Oct. 27, 1955], No. 32754/56. Divided out of 822,323. Addition to 721,878. Class 120(1) The process of obtaining fibres from plants claimed in the parent Specification is modified in that the treatment of the plant portions with the cytase liquor is carried out under pressure. The pressure may be between 15 and 75 lbs./sq. in. and the temperature may be between 20‹ and 30‹ C. Continuous circulation of the liquor is advantageous.
