Abstract

1,254,775. Lubricating; distributers. GENERAL MOTORS Ltd. April 23, 1970 [May 10, 1969 ], No.23899/69. Heading F1B. An I. C. engine accessory units assembly comprises a housing 1, Fig. 1 journalling a drive-shaft 5 which carries a toothed pulley and a plurality of engine accessory units including a fuel pump 23 an ignition distributer 8 and an oil pump 14, the ignition distributer, the oil pump and a fuel pump actuator cam 22 being arranged coaxially of the drive-shaft. The housing has internal passages leading from entry and exit ports at the mounting face to the oil pump and further passages to and from a mounting face 30 for an oil filter. The oil pump may be an internally meshing lobed gear type.
