[Also in Divisions F2, H3, and H4] A stud-and-socket fastener for connecting members 16, 41 comprises a stud 30, e.g. of nylon, anchored in a bore in the member 16 by barbs 31, and a nylon socket 50 anchored in a bore in the member 41 by peripheral ribs 51. An internal rib 53 in the socket is engageable in a circumferential groove 32 in the stud to provide a snap-fit retention of the stud in the socket. (For Figure see next column)
