Abstract

Teeth 3 are disposed on a chain wheel 1 for an endless track so that they alternately engage with the leading and trailing sides of rollers 6 of the endless track, the gaps between successive rollers being greater than the tooth width. The chain wheel may have shoulders 10 for supporting the chain links 9 or an annular rim between the teeth for supporting the rollers 6.
