Abstract

[Also in Divisions G2-G3] In apparatus for the projection of images changing continuously in shape and colour, light from lamp 9a is passed through a vessel 1 containing glycerine 3 in which randomly agitated fragments 4 of at least partially transparent coloured fragments are suspended, images being thrown by lens 10 on to a screen. Fragments 4 are disturbed by an air or fluid stream through pipe 13 inserted at hole 14. The light intensity varies in accordance with the sound intensity produced by a sound reproduction device 22. A masking plate 18 may be placed in front of lens 10. Vessel 1 may take the form of one or more rotating hollow discs, and various rotatably mounted colour filters may be interposed in the projection axis.
