Abstract

1,249,071. Electrophotographic element. IWASAKI TSUSHINKI K.K. 28 Jan., 1969 [5 Feb., 1968], No. 4760/69. Heading H1K. An electrophotographic element comprises a paper support having coated thereon a conductive layer having a resistivity lower than 10<SP>8</SP> ohm. cm. and comprising carbon and polyvinyl alcohol and coated on the conductive layer a photoconductive layer. The photoconductive layer may be ZnO or CdS in a silicone resin. Both sides of the paper may be provided with a conductive layer. The element is said to have stable electrical properties up to 300‹ C. and may be used as a master in an electroprinting process.
