An electrical circuit board comprises resilient contact strips 4 (Fig. 1) disposed in channels C under an insulating board 2 having holes 3 into which leads of electrical components may be inserted. The board 2 is sealed in a moulded plastics base 6, having slots and projections 9, 10 for connection to similar bases, and slots 11 for a mounting board 13 for potentiometers, which are connected to strips 4. Strips may be added at right angles to channel C for power supply. Strips 4 of Be-Cu may be divided into smaller mutually insulated lengths. The gripping portions of strips 4 beneath holes 3 are made independent of each other by lateral slots (15) between holes 3 (Fig. 2, not shown). Strips 4 may be replaced (Fig. 4) by individual spring contacts 18 disposed in wells 17 along channels C. Contacts 18 may be insulated from one another by the insertion of insulating pins. In another embodiment (Fig. 9 and Figs. 7, 8, 10, not shown) a flat strip (26) is opposed by individual spring contacts 30 along channels C, plastics inserts 31 guiding the component wires into position. In a final embodiment (Figs. 11-13, not shown), phosphor bronze channel shaped strips (48) with resilient opposing free ends are disposed along channels C, and removable inserts (52) are provided which may be replaced by prefabricated sockets for " dual in line " integrated circuits.
