Abstract

1,242,913. Sets. INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ELECTRIC CORP. 4 Sept., 1969 [11 Sept., 1968; 29 May, 1969], No. 43789/69. Heading H4J. A circuit board 2 is held in position on a plastics base-plate 1 of a telephone subset by four stepped supports 3, one near each corner abutting two parallel edges of the circuit board 2, by three rigid hooks 4, 5, which fit over a third edge of the circuit board 2 and by two slotted projections 7 each providing two resilient hook-shaped extensions which fit into rectangular or circular slots in the circuit board 2. The circuit board 2 is inserted by fitting the third edge below the hooks 4, 5 and then turning it in the direction of the arrow so that it rests in the supports 3 and is held by the projections 7. To release the circuit board 2, the two extensions of each projection 7 are pressed together. Contact springs 11 are sufficiently long to project over the front edge of the circuit board 2, which is set back in its middle portion, and in the fitted position of the circuit board 2 are stabilized by being fitted into slots 10 of an upstanding wall.
