[Also in Divisions B2 and F2] The supply of powdered material for an electrostatic spray gun is taken from a storage container 16, Fig. 10, by a wheel 106, the holes 130 of which dip into the powder and carry predetermined amounts up to a point adjacent a discharge conduit 131. Air under pressure is introduced into the container through a connection 125b by way of the bore surrounding the shaft 108 of the wheel (whereby the bearing and shaft are prevented from becoming fouled with powder) and as the holes 130 register with the discharge conduit, the air under pressure in the container blows the powder out through the discharge conduit to the spray gun.
