[Also in Division H2] An electrical connector, as for example for connecting a battery, accumulator or electric cable to a load, has a body made of a low cost high electrical conductivity, corrosion resistant zinc base alloy comprising:- Al 3À5-4À5% Mg 0À02-0À1% Fe 0 up to 0À1% Cd 0 up to 0À005% Cu 0 up to 3À5% Pb 0 up to 0À007% and Sn 0 up to 0À005% the balance being zinc. The connector body may be made by sand, or die casting.
