Abstract

1,240,386. Valves. ROSISTA G.m.b.H. 16 April, 1969 [20 April, 1968], No. 19474/69. Heading F2V. A three-way valve comprises a rotatable plug segment 10 to close off one connection 2 at a time, the connections being arranged in a plane, and the segment being supported on a shaft 7 arranged on the intersection of the axes of the connections. The shaft 7 includes a slotted upper end which mates in a member 19 moved axially by a pneumatic piston 21, and having pins 20 which move in slots 27, 28, and 29, in a sleeve 18, Fig. 2 (showing a development of the sleeve 18), to convert this movement to rotary movement which is transmitted to the plug. The member 19 can be moved by an electric motor. A spring 15 lifts the segment 10 before the shaft rotates.
