Abstract

123,936. Newbery, E., and Gerrard, H. Oct. 14, 1918. Locating conductors.-Relates to electrodes used for the detection of objects submerged in chloride solutions such as sea water, and consists in making these electrodes of silver or with a coating of silver, the silver surface being preferably covered with silver chloride. The electrode may be in the form of a tube or braided wire, foil, or gauze on insulating material, and may be enclosed in porous materials such as canvas or flannelette.
