Abstract
Rechargable electrochemical element is formed by adjacent thin solid layers placed in the following sequence in the charged state: (I) a cathodic collector formed of a material with a good electronic conductivity, (II) a catholytic electronic and/or ionic conductor consisting of CuS or Ag2S, (III) a separator consisting of a dissolved Li salt which forms an insulating ionic conductor for the electrons and is impermeable by catholyte, and (IV) a Li anode.
