Abstract
1,246,669. Sea cells. NUCLEAR RESEARCH ASSOCIATES Inc. 5 Sept., 1968, No. 42269/68. Heading H1B. An inert cell which is activatable by sea water has an Mg anode and a CuO cathode having a conductive coating on its surface facing the anode. The coating may be of Cu, Ag, a graphite paste containing Cu or Ag particles or a silvercontaining paint. The electrodes may be separated by insulating beads. A series-connected battery of the cells is described.
