Abstract

1,236,290. Garments. UNIROYAL Inc. 25 Feb., 1969 [26 April, 1968], No. 9931/69. Heading A3V. [Also in Division D1] A woven fabric (Division D1, 2) with plastics tubes extending in the warpwise direction of the fabric is made into a garment so that heating or cooling fluid may be circulated around the tubes. The garment shown in Fig. 1 has a header tube 18 for receiving the fluid which is circulated through tubes 12a to 12e to a return header tube 19. The feet may have connecting tubes 21 and the sleeves connecting tubes 20 with outlets 22 through which the fluid may be sprayed into the gloves of the wearer. The fabric from which the garment is made is relatively non-stretchable in the warpwise direction, so that a suit will fit only persons of a given height, but is relatively stretchable in the weftwise direction so that the suit may fit persons of differing girth. Various uses for the garment are stated.
