[Also in Division H1] A phosphor mixture for a fluorescent lamp (see Division H1) is composed of, in weight per cent, strontium calcium orthophosphate: tin 44À7 or 68À3; magnesium tungstate 20À8 or 22À2; calcium tungstate 13À7; magnesium fluorogermanate 6À8; yttrium vanadate: europium 3À3; barium silicate: lead 9À0 or 5À0; calcium zinc phosphate: thallium 2À0; zinc silicate: manganese 4À5. Reference is also made to the use of a coating of magnesium fluorogermanate as an ultra-violet filter in a high pressure mercury vapour lamp.
