Abstract

1,235,668. Portable containers. AMALGAMATED DENTAL CO. Ltd. 31 May, 1968 [3 Aug., 1967], No. 35638/67. Heading B8D. A container for a two-components of a mixture comprises a tubular body 3 closed at one end and housing a first (e.g. solid) component 6 and a tubular cap 1 which is slidably fitted over the open end of the body and houses a second, liquid component 7. The body 3 is sealed at its open end by a plug 4 which has a capillary bore 9 through which the liquid can be discharged into the body 3 by axial compression of the container. A hole may be provided in the body 3 for the expulsion of air during the latter operation. A rib 5 on the body 3 prevents axial compression of the container until it is aligned with a slot 2 in the cap.
