A motor vehicle clutch release bearing comprises a hub 11 having a flange 12, and inner and outer bearing races 15, 14, and the outer race 14 is attached to the flange 12 at one end, either by welding, soldering, adhesive, or by a separate metal sleeve (23), Fig. 2 (not shown). As shown, a metal clip 21 holds a sealing disc 17 between the ball races. Again, Fig. 2, the sealing disc is held by the sleeve (23) which is formed with roughened ends bent over the ends of the race and flange 12.
