In Fig.
Release bearing for clutches The present innovation relates to a release bearing for clutches, in particular for motor vehicles, in which the inner ring of a radial ball bearing transmits the release force exerted by the actuating element on a hub or the like to the release elements. More and more designs are being used in clutch construction in which the inner ring and no longer the outer ring rotates during the coupling process. These designs have the advantage of low friction and thus low wear. Furthermore, the maintenance of lubricant in these bearings is more favorable than in the case of hagern with a circumferential outer ring, so that the risk of lubricant escaping and getting onto the friction linings of the clutch is very much reduced. In a known embodiment, the outer ring is pressed into a sleeve or cap which is secured against rotational movements and which is designed as a cast or forged piece. This cap or sleeve has an annular, axially extending approach which extends through the bore of the inner ring with play and which serves to center the bearing. The cap or sleeve of the known release bearing is a relatively complicated part that is difficult and expensive to manufacture. An embodiment has also become known in which the outer ring is elongated on the side facing away from the coupling and has an inwardly directed flange with which the outer ring is pressed onto an approximately cylindrical hub. Apart from the complicated shape of the outer ring, which is very difficult to manufacture or edit, it has been found that the press connection between the hub, which is preferably made of light metal, and the flanged outer ring is not secure enough, so that there is a risk that the parts come loose during operation. The object of the invention is to avoid the disadvantages of the known designs and to create a release bearing which is simple in construction and therefore also simple to manufacture. To solve this problem , it is proposed that the hub used to center the bearing and engage the actuating elements should be mounted. an outward weei. send until the raceway of the outer ring is richly provided with flange @xu to which the outer ring of the bearing is attached. According to a further feature of the invention, the outer ring is wake-up either on its end face. the side surface of the flange z. B. by welding, soldering, gluing od. Like. Fixed, or connected to the hub by pressing onto this flange. Some exemplary embodiments of the inventive concept are shown in the accompanying drawing. In the drawings:... 1 shows a clutch release bearing having an outer ring with which the coupling end face remote is attached to the secondary body, Figure 2 is a clutch release bearing, the outer ring is pressed onto the radial flange of the labe, Figure 3 is a release bearing similar to that in Figure 2. shown, but Grit a slightly different embodiment of the hub, Fig. 4 a release bearing hlnlich the example shown in Fig. 2 and 3, in which said hub is provided with einett wear plate. The release bearing according to FIG. 1 consists of an ianenring 1, which is provided with a radial flange 2 formed in one piece with it , which serves as a thrust washer for the clutch , an outer ring 3 and the rolling elements 5 arranged between the bearing rings and shielded in a cage 4 . on the side facing the coupling side of the bearing, a seal 6 is provided. On the side facing away from the coupling, the outer ring 3 is with its end face 7 on the side surface 8 of the radially outwardly facing flange 9, the substantially cylindrical hub 10 z. B. attached by gluing. This hub 10 serves to center the bearing with respect to the coupling (not shown) and to engage the actuating elements for the coupling. These act in particular on the side surface 11 of the radial flange 9 of the hub 10. In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 2, the bore of the outer ring 3 is provided with a recess 12 with which this outer ring is pressed onto the radial flange 9 of the hub 10. For the axial fixation of the actuating elements for the coupling acting on the side surface 11 of the radial flange 9, the hub 10 is provided at the end of the rear cylindrical part 13 with a small flange 14 directed radially outward. The AusfÜhrungsbeispiel after Pig. 3 differs from the one just described only in that the radial flange 14, which is formed there in one piece with the hub , is here replaced by a loose ring 16 inserted in a groove 15 . In FIG. 4 a release bearing is shown in which the hub 10 on the side facing the actuating element a shaped U fed-in cross-section sleeve is 17 sets. This embodiment is particularly advantageous when the hub 10 z. H. made of light metal is. The sleeve 17 is then expediently a sheet steel sleeve hardened at least in the area of the Berikruagszane with the actuating element.
