Abstract

1,233,724. Transistor switching circuits. RCA CORPORATION. 10 May, 1968 [5 Sept., 1967], No. 28785/69. Divided out of 1,233,722. Heading H3T. The Specification is similar to that disclosed in Specifications 1,233,722 and 1,233,723 but the claims relate to an integrated circuit chip 70 having a first circuit group 74 for changing relatively large input signals to relatively small signals, a second circuit group 73 receiving these small signal swings and for producing other signals of the same signal swing, and a third circuit group 75 for receiving the other signals and converting them to the relatively large signal swing. The first and third group each include a resistor 36, 30 (Figs. 9, 7 and 8) having a part shorted by a connection 66, 65. The input circuits 74 as in Fig. 9 convert 800 mV signals into 800 mV signals. The array of circuits 73 include the transistor gate or bi-stable circuits (Figs. 2 to 6, not shown) which provide 600 mV output signals from 600 mV input signals. The output circuits 75 as in Figs. 7 and 8 convert a 600 mV input to a 800 mV output. Such an integrated circuit chip 70 provides matching between the external circuits 71, 72 and the array of gates 73.
