Abstract

1,233,218. Powder-puff. RICHARDSONS MFG. CHEMISTS Ltd. 23 Sept., 1969 [8 Oct., 1968], No. 47671/68. Heading A4V. A powder puff comprises at least one sheet of thermoplastic material 12, secured to at least one sheet of perforated or permeable material 11, by welding or fusing so as to form a pocket into which powder is introduced and then sealing the pocket. A further sheet of thermoplastic material 16, or a band (22) as in Fig. 4 (not shown) may be provided for accommodating the hand when applying the powder. A protective cover (17) is attached to the permeable sheet 11 such that it may be removed by breaking a transverse line of weakening or by a tear tab, before the puff is initially used.
