123,255. Lynden, R. A., Baron van, and Naamlooze Vennootschap de Nederlandsche Thermo - Telephoon Maatschappij. June 13, 1918. Earpieces; thermal instruments.-The resilientlv mounted earpiece of a thermic telephone receiver is provided with a contact adapted to engage a fixed contact to complete an electric circuit when the carpiece is pressed against the ear. The earpiece 1 is mounted upon a sleeve 4 and is separated from a fixed part 7 by a spring 10. The earpiece carries a contact 3 adapted to engage a contact 9 on the part 7 when the earpiece is pressed against the ear. The heating wires are connected between the contact 3 and a cap 11.
