Abstract

An oil-external, micellar dispersion is injected into a well bore in sufficient amounts to displace all the water from the pore space adjacent to the well bore to a radius of 3-20 feet. The dispersion is then displaced outwards by a hydrocarbon and the well is allowed to produce. Specifications 1,231,118, 1,231,119 and 1,231,120 are referred to.
