[Also in Divisions E2 and F4] A roof ventilator for a caravan, boat or building comprises a frame 12 each side of which is connected to a cover 8 by an adjusting mechanism. In the form shown, the frame 12 is positioned in a roof opening from below and a weather shield 16 is provided. In another embodiment, the frame is positioned from above and each side is of inverted channel-shaped cross-section. A drain water outlet may be provided for the channel between the frame 12 and shield 16. In another embodiment each adjusting mechanism is cam operated. The frame is made of extruded polyethylene or aluminium alloy and the cover 8 of transparent or translucent plastics material which may be tinted. A gauze screen may be provided for the frame.
