Abstract

1,224,031. A.C. generators with D.C. excitations. MESSERSCHMITT-BOLKOW-BLOHM G.m.b.H. 16 April, 1968 [27 April, 1967], No. 18005/68. Heading H2A. In an electric generator system especially for aerospace vehicles and consisting of a voltage control section 31, a main generator is excited by an exciter generator 10, and a controlled rectifier 30, e.g. of thyristors in the generator rotor 13, an RF-signal transmission consisting- of a transmitter 41 and a receiver 32 controls the excitation voltage by connection of the receiver to the control section 31 from which the signals are delivered to the rectifier 30. A regulator 40 modulates the RF voltage amplitude, and the signal is demodulated in a detector 33 and fed to section 31 via a push-pull amplifier 34. 21 designates the main generator field winding, and the exciter generator is excited by permanent magnets 11, 12.
