Abstract

1223696 Electro-photographic apparatus EASTMAN KODAK CO 29 Feb 1968 [8 March 1967] 9810/68 Headings B8R RL R245 R222 R246 R247 and R248 [Also in Division B6] Electro-photographic apparatus has an image transfer station 8 where copy sheets 6 receive developed images 5 and an electrically conductive plate 9 which electrostatically attracts the sheets 6 stripped from the photo-conductive image carrying member 1 by passing the member around a roller 4. The plate 9 guides the sheets 6 into a sheet receiving means, e.g. a fusing station. In another embodiment, copy sheets (6) Fig. 2 (not shown) are stripped from a photo-conductively coated drum (15). In either embodiment, the plate 9 may be grounded or connected to an electrical potential to provide the attraction. Stripping of the copy sheets may be assisted by rollers, air jets or mechanical stripper blades.
