Abstract
1,223,080. Carbon felt-graphite laminate. SIGRI ELEKTROGRAPHIT G.m.b.H. 10 Dec., 1969 [11 Dec., 1968], No. 60404/69. Heading B5N. [Also in Division F2] A heat-insulating assembly comprises a heat shield formed of a flexible sheet or foil of graphite, bonded to an insulating carbon felt, e.g. by adhesive. In an embodiment, four graphite foils are spaced apart by electrographite spacers and carbon felts are bonded between the foils; the assembly is mounted at both faces on electrographite supports. The insulation may be tubular.
