Abstract

1,222,281. Electrophotographic apparatus. NEDERLANDSCHE FOTOGRAFISCHE INDUSTRIE N.V. March 1, 1968 [March 3, 1967], No.10059/68. Heading G2H. A photo-copy machine has a light proof casing 1 having two feed slots between plates 2, 3 and 4. A light-sensitive copy sheet is fed between plates 3 and 4 simultaneously with an original, to be copied, fed between plates 2 and 3. The copy sheet is fed downwards along a plate 13 past a charging electrode 16. Rollers 5, 6, 8, 9, 11, 12, 14 and 15 are synchronously driven, such that the original and copy sheets are fed upwardly and downwardly repectively through imaging and exposure stations at the same speed. An optical system comprises a clamp 18, a mirror 20 and one or more lenses 19. The latent image formed on the copy sheet is developed in a tank 22. Feed rollers 25, 26 feed the developed copy sheet past an air blast from a blower, around a curved guide 28 to the front of the machine.
