Abstract

122,051. Ekeley, J. B., and Stoddard, W. B. Jan. 24, 1918. Sodium tungstate, molybdate, vanadate, and uranate.-An ore of tungsten molybdenum vanadium or uranium is ground, roasted to remove sulphur and arsenic, and then fused with a mixture of sodium carbonate and sodium or calcium chloride or fluoride, with some silica if necessary, and with the addition of sodium nitrate or chlorate if desired. The product is leached with water.
