Abstract
1,213,757. Portable gas stoves. PRIMUSSIEVERT A.B. 28 July, 1969 [22 Aug., 1968], No. 37784/69. Heading F4W. A portable gas stove comprising a frame 10 supporting a burner 14 above it and a bottle 18 of liquefied gas below it, has legs 12, the upper parts 44 of which form a utensil support, rotatable about axes extending substantially radially with respect to the axis of the stove from vertical stowed position to a splayed position of use. The burner is surrounded by a wind shield 16, and upper parts 44 of the legs 12 are bent at an acute angle to the lower parts so that in the stowed position they slope downwardly within the windshield. The legs 12 are held in bearing members 26 mounted on the shafts and having shoulders to locate the legs in the stowed and in use positions.
