[Also in Division A4] A device for cleaning electrical contacts comprises a blade 11 of resilient metal foil to which a strip 13 of cleaning material is detachably adhered by means of a self-adhesive foil 14. When required, the strip 13 and foil 14 may be removed from the blade 11 and replaced by a fresh strip 13 and foil 14 which, before application to the blade 11, is provided with a removable strip or strips covering the adhesive on the foil 14. The blade 11 which may be secured to a plastics handle 12 may be of steel or of non- magnetic material and may be provided on one side with the strip 13 of cleaning material and on the other side with a layer of silver. The cleaning strip 13 which may comprise buckskin or paper may be adhered or thermoplastically connected to the foil 14.
