A method of manufacturing a feed through terminal assembly comprises sliding a ceramic insulating member 1 over a conductor 4 and a sleeve 8 over the insulator, and securing with an electrically insulating adhesive on both faces of the ceramic material, followed by firing. The adhesive may be an epoxy-resin or an adhesive incorporating a glass powder; the ceramic material is glazed only on its exposed parts 2 and 3.
