Abstract

1,213,189. Gas burners. D. H. ROBINSON. 10 Nov., 1969 [16 Dec., 1968], No. 59744/68. Addition to 1,209,023. Heading F4T. An aerated gas burner comprises a gas chamber having a plurality of spaced jets as described in Specification 1,209,023 and a chamber made up of two readily assembled and dissembled parts 1 and 2, the part 1 including a fine gauge 5 surmounted by a cover 6 having apertures 8 which act as flame ports and part of the casing and the other part 2 including the remainder of the casing and a mixing tube 11, the separation of the parts enabling access to be had to the underside of the gauze 5. The apertures 8 are formed in transverse ribs 7 on the cover 6. The cover may be flat or have a longitudinal ridge.
