Abstract

1,212,990. Printing processes. H. F. & PH. F. REEMTSMA. 27 Dec., 1967 [30 Dec., 1966], .o. 58594/67. Heading B6C. In mult-colour printing on sheets to produce cigarette packages a series of registration marks 1a-1e is printed in a first colour and subsequently a mark 2 is printed within the mark 1a in a second colour, there being clearance between the marks la, 2 to indicate the alignment of the two colours in the direction of sheet-feed and a direction perpendicular to it. Further colours 3-5 are subsequently printed one after the other within the marks 1b-1d. Lines n are printed to indicate the registration of a fold line m and further lines o indicate the field of tolerance for cutting along a line p. The printing may be offset, intaglio or letterpress.
