Abstract

1,210,223. Brackets. C. TAYLOR. 21 March, 1968 [18 Aug., 1967; 18 Jan., 1968], Nos. 38157/67. and 2661/68. Heading A4B. [Also in Division E2] A spring clip assembly comprises a runner bar and two or more clips each of which comprises two parts separately, slidably and adjustably engageable with the runner bar and means for retaining the clip parts thereon. Each part of the two part clips 41, 42 and 43 slidably engages in the bent over sides of the runner bar 11 and is retained by a projection on the clip part engaging in one of a series of apertures in the bar or by one of a series of projections on the bar engaging an aperture in the clip part. The bar may be planar and house a strip providing recesses or projections according to which side of the strip is uppermost. The clips may slidably and frictionally engage the bar or may spring engage the bar in predetermined positions. The clip parts may have bent over edges which slidably engage over flanges on the bar, and are retained by screws passing through a central slot in the bar into a support for the bar.
