Abstract

1,209,827. Internal stoppers. HENRY SYKES Ltd. 13 March, 1969 [14 March, 1968], No. 12485/68. Heading B8T. [Also in Division F1] A reservoir chamber of a centrifugal pump (see Division F1) has a pair of openings 35 in its sidewalls, and each opening is closed by a removable plug 30 comprising a pair of plates 31 which are drawn together by a butterfly nut 32 to sandwich a rubber sealing ring 34 and thereby jam the plug in the associated opening 35.
