Abstract

1,209,095. Washers. ARMSTRONG PATENTS CO. Ltd. 31 July, 1969 [9 Aug., 1968], No. 38162/68. Heading F2H. In a component mounting assembly having a threaded stud 12 arranged to pass through a hole 16 in a mounting member 14 and comprising a pair of elastomeric buffers 20 disposed on the stud 20, one on each side of the member 14, with a rigid washer arranged between the component 10 and one buffer 20 and between the other buffer 20 and a pair of nuts 18, a yieldable plastics washer is interposed between one of the buffers 20 and the member 16 and has a stud (12) receiving aperture of a diameter smaller than that of the hole 16.
