Abstract

1,206,913. Vacuum insulated vessels. JEAN DELFORTRIE FILS. 6 Feb., 1969 [7 Nov., 1968], No. 6432/69. Heading F4U. A vacuum flask comprises thermoplastics outer and inner containers 1 and 2. The flask includes a foot 7 formed by a flange 13 on the container 1 and by a plug 14 which is fitted after the inner container has been inserted through the opening formed by the flange 13. The necks 3 and 4 of the containers are welded to form a pouring lip. The containers are manufactured one with a cylindrical neck and one with a frusto-conical neck and the former is given its final form during the welding process.
