Abstract

1,206,566. Measuring fluid-flow. F.W. DWYER MFG. CO. Inc. March 24, 1969 [April 22, 1968], No.15339/69. Heading G1R. A flowmeter assembly having a tapered bore 24 and a float 23 therein and inlet and outlets 25, 26 has a sectionally formed telescoping backing plates 42, 43 provided with tubular pipe fittings 50, 51 slidably fitted within the inlet and outlets 25, 26 and sealed therein by seals 54. The tapered bore portion is formed in one piece from a polycarbonate plastics material and the tube bore 24 may have inwardly projecting ribs 24b, Fig.ll (not shown), and ball stop projection 40. A removable ball stop 30 of the upper end of bore 24 facilitates cleaned. The face of the assemble is graduated.
